Well, after taking some time off from DNN development to pursue some other ventures, I am finally back into the swing of things.
Along with a an upgraded site, to DNN 4.5, I am also gearing up some new modules to present real soon. As some of you may be aware, I used to have a few more products available, but now with the release of DNN 4.x and so on, some of them have lost their value. Let me explain:
- Slipstream - Slipstream used to handle the removal of Viewstate information, the removal of whitespace, and the camoflauging of email addresses. All but one of these functions have been replicated inside of DNN itself, so the product realy lost a lot of it's buzz. I am working on a version to handle just the email logic, and will be released at a discounted price.
- Watch Dog - Again, most of the functionality Watch Dog added has been replicated inside of the core framework itself. It still offer some value, such as IP banning and user banning, again, which will be released at a discounted price.
All of the other products have been brought up to speed as far as DNN 4.x versions go.
I have also made a decision to primarily develop only in the DNN 4.x realm. This seems to be where most people have moved too, so it only makes good business sense.
Again, hold tight as the new site ramps up to speed.
Jerry.
